First Use

Remove the Kivo Vital 1000 from the packing box, ensure no protective film is on the front of the unit. Check to make sure you have all the components above. When removing the unit from the foam packing, it is slightly heavy, use care, or a second person to help you.

Ensure the switch on the rear is set to off, then plug in the device (we recommend using a surge suppressor power bar to extend the life of the device). Switch on, and then you can select either RED LIGHT ON, NIR (NEAR INFRA-RED) ON, or both on together. You can also increase or decrease the auto-off timer using the TIME+ or TIME- buttons.
