First Use
Remove the Kivo Vital 300 from the packing box, ensure no protective film is on the front of the unit. Ensure the switch on the rear is set to off, then plug in the device (we recommend using a surge suppressor power bar to extend the life of the device). Switch on, and then you can select either RED LIGHT ON, NIR (NEAR INFRA-RED) ON, or both on together.
How to use your Kivo Vital 300 Series Panel
This guide will apply to the Kivo Vital 300 panel only, 1000 series and above are different. Kivo Vital 300 units come in WHITE and BLACK versions, this step by step process applies to both.
Unpack all of the components of your Kivo Vital 300 Panel and lay them out.
Inside the box you'll receive:
- Kivo Vital 300 Panel
- Googles (more are available if you need)
- Power Cord (longer ones are available to purchase if required)
Ensuring the device is powered OFF, insert the power cable firmly, ensure it's seated fully in, and then switch on the device.
We do this to help prevent electrical surges to the control systems of the panel - ensuring your devices lasts longer.
On the side of the machine, from the top down you'll see:
- RED light switch
- NEAR-INFRARED light switch
Press the RED switch to enable red led's (630nm and 660nm)
Press the NIR switch to enable NEAR INFRA-RED (810nm, 830nm, and 850nm)
As a reminder, if you use this panel within your eye line or near your face, you must use the supplied googles to protect your eyes.
If you need to clean your Kivo Vital 300 panel, simply use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of dawn (or other similar) dish soap.
