To sync a remote with the Elite panel

Due to shipping regulations (CanadaPost does not allow batteries in products shipped by air), the remote control with your Elite panel does not come with a battery (23A 12v) - these are easily and cheaply obtained from Amazon.

To synchronize your remote with your Elite Panel:

1. Switch off the panel using the switch on the rear of the unit so the panel is powered off completely.
2. Insert the 23A 12v battery into the remote control
3. Press any button to make sure the little red LED on the front of the remote lights up showing it is working
4. Place the remote near to the control panel on the Elite panel and press the top button on the remote (R/NIR button)
5. Switch the Elite Panel on
6. The panel should beep to confirm the sync of the remote
7. You can now operate the panel using the remote control with the R/NIR (Red / Near-Infrared), Timer, Brightness, and Pulse modes.

If the Red LED does not work on the front of the remote it is possible the battery isn't working, obtain a different battery, and try again.

If the pairing of the remote with your Elite panel still does not work, or you wish to delete all remotes, you can reset the pairing of remotes by pressing down the top button on the Elite Panel for 20 seconds.
